A unique condiment produced in limited quantities due to the geographical conditions of Modena

Leonardi’s mission is to share his passion for this excellent product, strongly linked to family traditions and love for the local territory. Only after many years of hard work with the “Trebbiano” and “Lambrusco” grapes, following rules and secrets passed down through generations, is it possible to obtain the Traditional Vinegar of Modena, characterized by the right density, a dark brown color, an elaborate bouquet , a pleasant acidity and a mild bittersweet flavor.

Leonardi started its activity in the course of the 18th century, but it was in the middle of the 19th century that it started to specialize in the production of balsamic vinegar.

Balsamic vinegar is a unique condiment produced in limited quantities due to the geographical conditions of the Modena area. The farm is surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards with a variety mainly directed to Trebbiano (white grapes) and Lambrusco (red grapes).

The entire process is a closed-loop process, which means that they grow and harvest their own grapes, ferment, age, bottle and sell balsamic vinegar on their own property. This is an important distinction in the quality and taste of vinegar.

This tradition is passed on from generation to generation by the Leonardi family, which repeats year after year the same production cycle of its balsamic vinegar, generating new and renewed emotions every year.
