Summer Truffles, as the name suggests, are harvested in summer between May and August. They are often found in the Mediterranean climate areas of France, Italy and Spain.
To garnish your dishes and enrich your special recipes, place directly on top after preparation. The olive oil can be used as a sauce.
Usage Suggestions:
Cut the truffle into thin slices and use in cold or hot dishes. For a more intense flavour use the truffle juice, which is obtained from the fresh truffle while it is cooking.
