Product Description
Available from early October. This tomato preserve, originally formulated as a winter broth, has Arabic origins. The Sicilian name means grinding and refers to the crush of dried tomatoes combined with sauce and vinegar. This recipe adds juicy tomatoes, oregano, pickles and pepper. This aromatic pasta, the Sicilian version of pesto, goes well with pizza and bruscheta, with dough and grilled meats – pure Sicily.
Ingredients:
Dried tomatoes 40%, tomato sauce, extra virgin olive oil, sugar, salt, parsley 0.6%, oregano, chili powder.
Allergens:
May contain traces of celery, pistachios, almonds, fish, and milk.
Storage:
Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 3 days.
