Available from early October. This typical vegetable dish of the Sicilian port city of Catania is slightly sour thanks to the addition of sour cream and vinegar. The traditional recipe with eggplant, juicy tomatoes, capers, olives, carrots and a harmonious Cutrera oil goes well as a cold appetizer in summer, also goes very well in a hot bruscheta and accompanies aromatic and hot fish and grilled meats.
