Nyåkers gingerbread is as close to home made as you can get!

Nyåkers Pepparkakor was founded in 1952. At the time, it was an ordinary local bakery, supplying a variety of pastries. The bakery’s bread wagon travelled between farms selling to households.

The company is now one of the largest on the Swedish market for gingersnaps and an increasing share of production is exported to countries all over the world. The Company has won countless prizes for its gingerbread. So, what’s the secret? All ingredients are Swedish and of the highest quality. The spices are mixed by hand and the cakes are printed out with large rolls of bronze. This way, the gingerbread is as close to home made as you can get. And the recipe, it is the same as the Åström brothers came up with in 1952.
