Product Description
The confection of the cake will have started in the 15th to the 16th centuries and will have been improved in the 17th to 18th centuries, successively using European spices, those from India. Currently the cake has as spices Nutmeg, Cloves, Fennel, Cinnamon, Almonds and Walnuts.
It must be broken by hand and can be accompanied by liqueurs or Madeira wine.

WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, enzymes, flour treating agent (E300)); cane honey (28%), sugar, palm margarine (refined palm oil and antioxidants (E304i and E321)); animal fat, sultanas, sodium bicarbonate (E-500ii), Madeira wine, cinnamon, fennel, lemon, orange, nutmeg, brandy, NUTS and ALMONDS.
