Handmade Manufacture of Traditional Madeiran Pastry and Sweets
The firm Martins & Martins, Lda. started its activity in 1982, with the “Homemade manufacture of pastries and confectionery”.
Later, in 1993 and due to the growing demands of the market – together with the quality of our products – it expanded, creating a company with three partners. It is also in this year that the firm moves to larger facilities with better working conditions.
Martins & Martins has its main focus on the artisanal manufacture of traditional Madeiran pastries and sweets, such as the Honey Cake, present in most Madeiran family gatherings, especially during the Christmas season. It is rich in typical ingredients such as sugarcane honey and Madeira wine. And the Traditional Candies, with a cylindrical appearance, where the king is the fennel candies that stand out in the face of a variety of typical flavors of the region.
Experienced hands handle quality ingredients, in order to deliver the best traditional Madeiran delicacies to each customer.
