The Purified Tamarind is a tamarind paste whose seeds are removed. It tastes sweet and sour and is used in sauces and dishes from the Surinam, Indian and Thai cuisine.
Ingredients:
Tamarind (65%), water, acidity regulator (citric acid, acetic acid), sugar, salt, modified corn starch, colour: caramel, thickener (xanthan gum), preservative (sodium benzoate).
Storage:
Refrigerate after opening.
Usage Suggestions:
Is used in many types of Asian dishes, including noodle recipes, curries, sauces, and soups. It can also be mixed into uncooked dips and chutneys
