Vegetable Chow Mein

Quick and easy vegetable chow mein! Egg noodles, chow mein sauce and vegetables.

  1. Heat a little oil in a wok or frying pan over a high heat. Add the garlic and onion and fry for about 20 seconds, stirring so they don’t burn.
  2. Add the broccoli and carrots and fry for another minute or two.
  3. Add the peppers, bean sprouts and cabbage and fry for a few minutes. Mix well so that they are cooked evenly.
  4. Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the packet – you need to soak them in water or put them straight into the pan.
  5. Add the chow mein sauce and the noodles to the wok, stir well and serve!
  6. Top with chopped chives and sesame seeds.
