In northern Apulia, Italy, these organic sun-ripened tomatoes are harvested and selected manually. They are cut in half, salted and carefully dried in the Mediterranean sun. BioOrto’s dried tomatoes are delicious as antipasti, in pasta dishes or in a typical Italian panino (sandwich) with arugula and buffalo mozzarella.
