Miniterrines of Cheese and Figs

A simple recipe perfect for a special starter.

Ingredients

  • 250 g cheese terrine
  • 150 g Turkish figs
  • 100 ml port wine
  • Fresh figs to garnish

Preparation Method

  1. Coarsely chop the Turkish figs and bring to the boil with the port wine. Cook until the figs soften and the wine evaporates.
  2. Blitz the cooked figs in a food processor and season with a little salt. Leave to cool before assembling the terrines.
  3. Line 20 3 cm high petit gâteau tins with food wrapping and make layers of cheese, fig cream and cheese again.
  4. Place in the fridge for approximately 1 hour. Unmould the terrines, remove the plastic and decorate with fresh figs.
