Vinegar “Moura Alves” is produced from selected wines from vintages older than 10 years. These are wines from the Bairrada region.
Its acidification took place in an entirely natural way, during a long aging period – 10 years, in 250 liters of oak wood and by the action of bacteria that transformed all the alcohol into acetic acid. Its unusual 10º acidity is the result of this traditional process that forms the basis for the exceptional aroma and flavor of this quality wine vinegar. As an artisanal production, “Moura Alves” vinegar is available in limited quantities.
