Product Description
Kimchi is a Korean dish of fermented Chinese cabbage with spices, usually chilli, garlic and ginger.
It can be used as an hors d’oeuvre, to accompany your noodles, to gently spice up your favourite dishes, to flavour tofu and as a topping for a simple bowl of white rice.
Perfect as a side dish with rice or mixed into soups and stir-fries, Korea’s famous fiery and sour staple, enjoyed throughout Asia and increasingly more so in the west, is not only packed full of flavour, but vitamins and healthy lactobacilli too! This traditional kimchi consists of fermented cabbage and a mix of radish, garlic, onions and spices.
Kimchi is a Korean dish (THE Korean dish, according to many enthusiasts of Korean cuisine), but it just so happens that it is also immensely popular in Japan. Kimchi is used in nabe hot pots, added to ramen, served on top of fresh rice, and more. If you’re a fan of spicy Korean flavours, or indeed spicy foods in general, Kimchi is well worth giving a try.
