Chocolate Biscuit Cake

We have elaborated this traditional by adding a different touch.

Ingredients

  • 200g butter
  • 130g icing sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoonful of cold espresso
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300g chocolate biscuits
  • Coffee

Preparation Method

  1. Place the butter at room temperature in a bowl together with the icing sugar, the egg yolk, the coffee, and the vanilla extract and beat with a whisk until you obtain a fluffy, smooth cream.
  2. Dip the biscuits in the cold coffee one by one and arrange them in the shape of a flower on a plate.
  3. Cover with a layer of buttercream, smooth it out, and again place more biscuits soaked in coffee.
  4. Repeat the steps until all the biscuits are baked, ending with a layer of cream.
  5. Decorate to taste and refrigerate until serving.
