Fruit Cake

This fruit cake can be prepared to serve for a special breakfast, snack or even dessert. Use the strawberry preserve to ensure an exceptional taste.

  1. Beat the butter with the brown sugar until it becomes cream.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating constantly, add the sifted flour with the yeast and mix gently with a spoon.
  3. Grease a cake tin with the slightly softened butter and dust it with the flour.
  4. Pour the mixture into the tin, sprinkle the spoonfuls of strawberry jam on top, and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, remove from the tin and leave to cool. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with the sliced mango.
